Who Am I?
When I was little, I hated the question “where are you from?” because it took too long to explain.
But I developed a ‘in-a-nutshell’ version.
I was born in Korea (the Southern one) in 1990.
Our family moved to Beijing, China in 1993.
I went to an International School and studied in an American schooling system.
Family moved back to Korea in 2000 and I went to a fairly typical Korean school for 4 years.
Then our family moved back to Beijing and shortly after we head down south to Guangzhou, China.
I graduate from an International School and the natural flow of things takes me to Champaign, IL.
I plan. I design. I take photos. I photoshop (verb form). I enjoy problem solving.
My hobbies are soccer (football they call it in Europe) and photography among many others. I like to go bowling and play 10 games non-stop. I also like thrill-seeking activities such as jumping off a plane wearing a backpack (also commonly known as skydiving) or jumping off a ledge with a string attached (aka bungee jumping). And apparently I tend to unnecessarily overly elaborate on otherwise very simple concepts as demonstrated above. All of the above could have been truncated into a very simple sentence: I’m a very outdoorsy person.
