Videos and Sounds - Focused on idea development and creativity. (All of the works here were done for classes while I was attending UIUC.)

This I Believe

I was supposed to make a video describing something I believe in. I decided to express my interest in photography and what element of photography drives me to go out and take photos.

Stop Racism

I knew that in Japan people draw faces with words (henohenomoheji). I thought it’d be fun to try it out with other languages as well and figured out a message that could tie it all in.

Meme Video

This video is a fun poke at the many memes and (in)famous stories related to UIUC... or college life in general.

Interview Project

This was the first time I had gone and conducted a "formal" interview. I think it was a good opportunity to show that the university has more functions than just recruit students and teach - it works like a company and there's more to it than it meets the eyes.

Motif Project

The very first video I created from scratch. It's from a time period when the sliding phones were still a very "in" thing. The recurring motif for the video is 'time' and 'repetition.'

Video Mashup

This video was extremely fun to make. The instructions for this project was to mix existing video footage to create something that is completely different from the original videos. If a circus like this one exists, I would definitely go see, no matter the cost of the ticket!

Sound Project

A moment of brilliance struck me when I was thinking about this project in its initial stages. Today, the computer is tightly infused with our lives to the point where we can't imagine life without one. And just by hearing the sounds coming from someone's computer is enough for us to tell what's going on - whether he's plugged a USB in or there's a Facebook chat going on. Can you "see" what's going on in this vid....i mean, sound?
